Maybe Pitt’s worst performance in a popular film. He could’ve shared whatever Shrill Dumb Bitch Juice he was sipping on set with BJ Novak who looks fully dissociated the entire movie (you’ll never be great if you're terrified of looking uncool, BJ). Other performances all solid to exceptional though. Don’t think this is QT’s masterpiece, maybe if he’d retooled the Basterds part a bit. Also, the big finale is not as cathartic or violent as the movie spends its runtime teasing. Still absolutely love the rhythms. Kruger & Fassbender & cast really stood out. Waltz in career ruining perfection. worth it.
