living life in technicolor

This film has been sitting on my watchlist for nearly five years, and I was genuinely looking forward to finally experiencing it. So I have to it, I’m quite disappointed and underwhelmed. Lost in Translation didn’t resonate with me the way I had hoped.
It has its moments, especially visually, and I can appreciate the quiet, introspective tone Sofia Coppola was going for, but overall, it felt more meandering than meaningful. Maybe I just didn’t see what so many others…

This is the longest film I’ve seen so far, and I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint. I even think it’s fair to say this is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.
