The colours and visuals in this film were absolutely incredible, a great looking film. The story itself was alright. For such a devastating topic the film had some awfully feel good vibes.

Poor Takashi Shimura, this guy is in pure agony and despair in every Kurosawa film 😭

This film surprised me, it was insanely good with great performances and an interesting as well as fun plot that wastes no time and never trails off.

The visuals, score and dialogue in this film were the standouts, so hooking and ahead of its time... pure cinema and entertainment.
