this drama is exactly what I needed in my life for my mental and physical health.
1) I hadn’t laugh this much while watching media in god knows how long and
2) I ACTUALLY STARTED GOING TO THE GYM MORE REGULARLY (especially on days this was airing cause I didn’t wanna disappoint the director! (I was pretending that he was also my trainer hehe)) AND EVEN BOUGHT A PAIR OF TEN POUND DUMBBELLS TO WORKOUT AT HOME. WHAT THE HECK?! WHAT AM I TURNING INTO?!
anyways, i haven’t cried since starting this drama so it’s safe to say, I AM ONLY GAINING MUSCLE 😮💨🔥💪🏽

this drama came into my life when I needed it the most. I had just finished watching Weak Hero and it genuinely made me feel so sad and empty... *spoiler I guess?* seeing my poor baby boy being in coma wrecked me and I might never recover from it, PLEASE WAKE UP, MY BABY BOY! (but I also might rewatch because it’s Weak Hero week hehe (I love inflicting pain on myself <3)) BUT then comes this goofy ass drama with the most unserious leads sent by the gods just for ME. after the pain Hyunwook caused me, he returned to me as a BOSS BABY! THIS IS EXACTLY THE DISTRACTION I NEEDED!!!
also this is the only drama where I accept the leads ending up with their first love, because they actually hated each other after their first irl interaction. the enemy to lovers trope always FTW!!!

I went through an absolute roller coaster of emotions watching this film. one moment I was in awe of the stunning visuals, and the next I was overwhelmed with anxiety and fear. It’s such a brilliantly crafted thriller!! I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such intense emotions from an animated film before.

this movie had no business being as amusing as it was. fardeen khan’s performance was hilariously bad. his expressions anytime esha deol’s ghost appeared is peak comedy. he was the worst actor from the 2000s and no one can change my mind. I was genuinely losing my sanity last year anytime I saw a reel celebrating fardeen khan’s comeback. THIS IS ONE ACTOR THAT NEVER NEEDED TO ACT AGAIN!!!!

I was really looking forward to seeing isha koppikar play a lesbian character especially since her portrayal of laila in qayamat was my partial gay awakening but this left me disappointed (which I was already expecting to be quite frank). the movie basically implies that her past trauma made her gay???
I immediately hated her “best friend” sapna’s male love interest. he pretends to be gay to get close to her, eventually tries to kiss her but she pushes him from shock and he replies “boys don’t love boys, boys love girls”. as if that wasn’t bad enough, he follows her home, waits for her outside all night and that was somehow enough for her to fall in love with him…
ALSO WHAT THE HELL IS 1234???? I have never heard anyone say 1234 in place of “I love you”. they say 1234 far too often in this and the film even dedicated a whole song to it with lines such as “tumhari iss ada pe 1234 hum toh mar gaye” I think they meant to say 143. anyways, why am I trying to find any logic in this film.
this was bad. PERIOD.
past lives was great n all but respectfully, this remains teo yoo’s BEST performance <3
my dude plays a famous actor known as the “god of romance” (essentially the shah rukh khan of south korea) but the close proximity to women MAKES HIM GAG?!? but he eventually finds a woman who doesn’t repulse him and he turns into a total babygirl????
