It’s tantalizing to see Jim Varney in a role where he’s allowed to display some range (he absolutely kills the dramatic scenes here) it’s just a shame that the movie surrounding him is so lame and that he didn’t get more chances to show off his chops as an actor. Soundtrack went off too.
