A rough, rose-tinted 16mm print of Far From Home screened at the ICA in 2017, as part of a Sohrab Shahid Saless retrospective (held at the Goethe Institut and Close-Up, curated by Nikolaus Perneczky and Azadeh Fatehrad, who has a great-looking book on Shahid Saless that I need to get) that left me convinced Shahid Saless was the most important underdiscussed figure of both the Iranian New Wave and New German Cinema.
