I’m so glad I got to watch this on premiere day! I think I enjoyed it more then, but I’m loving that more people are discovering it now.

Adolescence really hits different. It’s not just some crime drama~it shows how messed up things can get when kids are shaped by the wrong influences. Dark, intense, and super real, but it leaves you hoping that things can still turn around. Kinda heavy, but worth the ride.

like the perfect mix of action, comedy, and unforgettable characters! I was so obsessed that I even visited some filming locations during my first trip to Seoul! As Vincenzo Cassano would say: If you want to win, you have to become a monster. and this drama? Absolute beast mode.🔥

This tries to be everything at once? like a romcom, action thriller, and sci-fi mind-bender, but..👀

...ends up being a chaotic mess. And not the fun kind. Anya and the cast do their best, but the movie never finds its rhythm. Instead of blending genres smoothly, it just throws them all in a blender and hopes for the best. Spoiler: it doesn’t work :v

This feels like a dream you’re trying to piece together...

sometimes elusive, sometimes strikingly clear. Its textured, sensory-heavy approach makes it mesmerizing, even when the storytelling feels deliberately distant. like the balance between mystery and explanation isn’t always perfect, but it’s what makes the film so unique. Definitely an experiment worth experiencing!!

Rewatching this because I’m pretty sure I saw it back in the early 2000s, but I was like 10 and totally confused. Now I’m 27 and… still confused, but in the best way! Nolan doesn’t just tell a story, he pulls off a trick, and we want to be fooled. Obsession, sacrifice, and a plot that unravels like a magic act. Love it. 🔥

This isn’t some ‘turn your brain off’ kind of movie~it sticks with you. The press tour alone has made believers out of people, and yeah, I’m stepping through that Belief door too 🚪✨

This movie, in particular, without the presence of humans, offers a unique and refreshing perspective. As someone who lives with 13 cats, I couldn’t help but feel an even deeper connection to this work, which beautifully captures the relationship between animals and nature. I couldn’t hold back my tears😭 it was such an emotional experience that truly touched my heart!

I watched Robot Dreams during my first trip to New York 🗽 and my second solo adventure around the world 🌍. I cried like a baby!! 😭 bc it reminded me of my love story with my best friend, who’s now my partner ❤️. After the trip, I watched it again with him, and it felt even more beautiful this time ✨. I realized that even though I still do things alone, like I’ve always done since I was a teen, I can’t fully enjoy them without him anymore. We’re coming up on 9 years of friendship 🎉, and I swear we’re just like those 2 characters dancing to September by Earth, Wind & Fire 🕺💃. This year, though, we danced to it in Japan 🇯🇵! Fingers crossed 🤞 we can go back to New York together soon!!

This was a random movie I stumbled upon while scrolling through Netflix, and what a surprise!

It’s a tense, action-packed thriller with some cool twists and a raw vibe. Now I want to see more of Saulnier’s stuff!! his style is pretty intense. So, if u like thrillers with action, give this one a shot. It’s solid!

I had to see for myself why this movie scored 13 Oscar nominations... I knew it was going to be bad, but I never expected to sit through the entire thing .-.

As a Spanish speaker, I couldn’t stop cringing throughout the entire film, especially during every single song. I still can’t wrap my head around how it got 2 nominations for Best Original Song.

That said, the premise of the movie is actually intriguing like.. a criminal who decides to leave his life of crime behind, embrace his true self, and undergo gender transition. So, I have to it, the only performance I genuinely liked was Karla Sofía Gascón’s... even though the movie is literally called Emilia Pérez, it didn’t feel like Karla was the main character. Instead, it seemed like Zoe Saldana’s Rita stole the spotlight. ha?

I just wanted to watch a movie to have a good cry, and it definitely delivered.

But beyond that, I was blown away by Florence's incredible performance and the way the story was told, masterfully playing with timelines. A truly captivating experience!

What?!!! I can’t believe Tom Holland isn’t more recognized for this series than for the Marvel movies. Absolute genius.

Every single episode had me completely hooked, and since I watched it as it aired, the wait to see what would happen next was brutal. Honestly, it was so hard to figure out what was really going on until the very end.

Fun fact: Tom Holland not only starred in the series but also served as an executive producer. like what!! also the show was inspired by real events and the book The Minds of Billy Milligan, which explores the life of a man with dissociative identity disorder. Holland himself itted this role was so intense it pushed him to take a break from acting for a while. That level of dedication? Just woooow. This series deserves way more recognition!

This is the kind of horror/thriller I absolutely love because it’s something that could literally happen to you. Watching how they played with paranoia and fantasy was just the cherry on top of the… lighthouse? Haha. I loved it! Just don’t take solo trips out to sea. Byeeee sirenita!

This is exactly the kind of movie I’d choose for a fun, laid-back movie night with friends. It’s short, engaging, and perfect for when you just want something light but still interesting👌

At first, the setting reminded me a lot of Bodies, Bodies, Bodies..I almost thought I’d seen it before! 👀But once I realized it wasn’t, we were hooked.

The story may be simple, but it’s done so well, and the performances were really strong. What I loved most was how fresh and inventive the style was!! It felt different in a good way, but it always stayed true to the story. That consistency is something I really appreciate in films like this.

Does Yorgos ever take a break? It feels like I’ve been seeing a new film from him every few months this year. I still watching The Lobster and thinking, "Wow, what a unique way to explore human nature" With Kind of Kindness, he brings that same authenticity, especially for people like me who still struggle to say NO... a theme that really hit close to home.

What also caught my attention in this film was the heavy focus on kink (hehe). I personally didn’t mind, but I know it’s not for everyone. That said, I could have overlooked the constant nudity and fetishistic moments, which felt a bit self-indulgent at times, but what truly crossed the line for me was the pointless and almost decorative assault scene. It left me wondering...why? What was the point of that? :ooo

The film felt like it was building towards something deeper, but by the end, it all just crumbled, leaving me with nothing meaningful. It came off as eloquent but insincere, and it left me frustrated. In the end, it wasn’t even about shock value; it was a drawn-out kink-fest that felt absurd and, dare I say, a bit pretentious.

I can't wait for the day I lose my memory or am reborn, just to experience this film again for the first time. I can't even recall the last time I felt such intense tension in a movie theater. It was incredible to see the audience collectively tighten up during the gore-filled scenes. Long live gore, forever! The film's message, or more accurately, how it made me feel, is beyond words, especially at this stage of my life. I'm already thrilled to dive into more of Coralie Fargeat's visual creations.

Fun anecdote: the cinema in my country is heavily driven by commercial films, and I still can't believe I was part of the movement that helped secure more screenings for The Substance. To this day, it’s still playing in theaters, and I’m soooo happy!

I saw a comment where someone said "It’s okay, you don’t have to pretend you like this movie...' but honestly, what do you expect from a commercial film?

I went in with pretty low expectations, which might be why I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. The movie’s use of well-known IPs added a fun twist, and while the jokes came at you non-stop (as expected with Deadpool), it sometimes felt like there were too many crammed in, making it hard to keep up. My favorite part was definitely the dance scene—it had me laughing out loud. Although I have to say, the plot did lose focus towards the end, and I actually found myself wishing the movie had a bit more time to flesh out certain scenes.

...pero, sinceramente, ¿qué esperas de una película comercial? Yo la verdad fui con expectativas bastante bajas, lo que tal vez explique por qué terminé disfrutándola más de lo que pensaba. El uso por parte de la película de conocidas IPs añadió un toque fun, y aunque los chistes te llegaban sin parar (como era de esperar con Deadpool), a veces parecía que había demasiados, lo que hacía difícil seguir el ritmo. Mi parte favorita fue definitivamente la escena de baile; me hizo reír mucho! Aunque debo decir que la trama perdió un poco el enfoque hacia el final, y me encontré deseando que la película tuviera un poco más de tiempo para desarrollar mejor algunas escenas.

Shaman culture in Korea never ceases to amaze me and I think Kim Go-eun managed to portray 100% of that in her character. There's nothing more fascinating than watching a movie with a good mystery and horror while eating sashimi Hehe.

10 episodes of art! I loved that this series introduced many of the Japanese traditions that I already knew about and some that I didn't. It made me very interested in reading the book and learning more about the samurai. When I meant art, I meant that the series itself is a poem, especially the last episode. The art of war, perhaps? Wow!

I really liked the feeling of the 70's and how they handled the interviews which gave it a touch of realism and generated more tension.... The bad thing was that they didn't keep this in the rest of the movie which I don't understand because if they had followed this format, I feel it would have been a 4.5-star movie (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
