Black Bag is an excellent spy thriller, tightly wrapped in an hour and a half of intrigue, espionage and leaves the audience as well as its characters unsure of who to trust. I can fully see where some of the division regarding the film comes from, if you expect something like The Bourne Identity or really any James Bond instead of something more like Tinker Tailor you are going to be very dissapointed.

Overall, I enjoyed Novocaine. I think it's an action movie that uses its premise well. The action scenes are creative and make good use of his "ability" or lack there of and really don't pull punches when it comes to the gruesomeness of it.

I do find the action sections take a tiny longer to get going than I'd like, and my primary complaint is that the film felt like it failed to fully stick the landing for me. I…

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with The ant's sequel. A more pessimistic part of myself was expecting a weak plot, heavy action kind of movie.

While the film certainly has its moments of intense action it always ends up being balanced out with various amounts of semi-dark humor and storytelling in between.

As for the cast while I think everyone in the film did a wonderful job I can't help but always appreciate Jon Bernthal's very unique flavor…

Sinners was a phenomenal film, while there are supernatural elements the horror and monsters serve as nothing more than symbols of the real story. Ultimately, Sinners is a story about blues, community, and the pain of a wronged people.

From a production perspective, it's equally as impressive that the fact that this is Ryan Cooper's first original blockbuster leaves me with a great amount of excitement for what is to come.
