I watched this film when it was released and it took me a while to get the courage to watch it again. This is such a devastating and heartbreaking film. A difficult watch for sure. The actors did such an amazing job portraying the real life survivors. It was easy to connect and get attached to all the characters, which made it harder when some did not make it. Went through a roller coaster of emotions, but it was like watching survivor extreme. I highly highly recommend this film.

I watched this movie when it came out in 2016, and it's one of those movies I can watch over and over and learn something new every time. From the cinematography to the color palette used, to the acting and the music production, this film is without a doubt in my top 5. I would do anything to feel the emotions I felt when I watched this for the first time. Such a heartbreaking but loving and realistic love story. You’ll experience a roller coaster of emotions while watching two lovers fall in love, argue, and fight for their love but eventually go separate ways to achieve their dreams. Loving someone is never a waste. I hope my love accomplishes all their hopes and dreams, but I would probably off myself if I saw him with his wife and kids.
