I got a random urge to rewatch this for the first time in years and it has aged wonderfully. 

Mulan is the ultimate criticism of toxic masculinity while being simultaneously uplifting for young boys and girls alike. 

I genuinely think if many of the young men in this world who fall into the incel/andrew Tate podcast listening category would just watch this film and try to understand what is happening then they would be so much better off for it.…

I was expecting to like this movie, love it even. 
What I wasn’t expecting was to walk out of that theater a changed man.

Yeah this is a perfect film. 

Completely visceral but undeniably beautiful scenery with one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard and some of the greatest performances I’ve seen from an ensemble cast.
