The aesthetic is beautiful. The music/score ia so incredible that it also feels like a crutch. Invading too many scenes, making it feel so overly dramatic and uneven. They really went all in on the Entity and end of the world stuff. But damn did Cruise and company pull it off. Everyone played this so seriously and overly dramatic. But I loved every minute of it. Could have been silly/gimmick, but there's so much craft here that locks you in. The pacing was phenomenal. Hardly did i feel that runtime as this thing is just barreling forward.
