A goofy good time, and exactly what I wanted after seeing this plot description and Elmore Leonard as the screenwriter, A markedly competent film with several delightfully punchable goons and one deliciously evil main villain, Mr. Majestyk is a damn fun flick.

This might be the first Droopy short I can seeing and what fun it is

Can’t wait to hear other people’s interpretations of this. The lack of dialogue made the story’s big jumps more difficult to parse, but the animation was phenomenal enough that it doesn’t really matter. Definitely need another viewing to solidify my thoughts on it

Really liked this. An interesting depiction of black female liberation from a culture that says they value them while fucking them over behind the scenes. Also just really fun to watch Pam Grier kick ass and exact some vengeance
