I more or less love her music but found this crazy boring, DNF a little over halfway thru. part of why I’ve felt so resistant to brat is because I don’t find the lore of Charli as an artist especially compelling — I really just like the tunes (which is why I prefer Crash… sorry). what ought to feel intimate and methodical comes off indulgent and tedious
