time loop episode is the best time loop story of all time, hands down. such a banger episode i’ll be rewatching again and again
second 2020 time loop movie i watched today. went really hard just like beyond the infinite two minutes and the characters felt pretty fresh and original for what you’d expect from time loop movies

I haven’t given out a 1/10 in over 500 diary entries but this Oscar winning short doesn’t even come close to a 2/10, one of the worst, most surface level films I’ve ever watched. It’s only 30 minutes long and is on Netflix if you want to claim you’ve seen one of the worst Oscar wins of all time

Sci fi movies are so fucking cool man. The concept of this is that some guy who owns a cafe has a tv upstairs in his room which is connected to the tv downstairs in the cafe but he finds out he can talk to himself in the future by 2 minutes. Mamoru Oshii makes some weird ass movies. This was less confusing than Ghost in the Shell but it took me awhile to understand what was going on. Once I did it was odd but really enjoyable with some good animation and peak character designs. I’ll probably be revisiting Oshii’s other films a few times before this one though.
