Fantastic film, incredible performances, it also didn’t indulge in being a crime investigation film. There was an unbelievable attention to detail and the use of language in this film was something I’ve never really seen before. There is so much ambiguity and lack of closure in this film and the writing is just genius in my opinion! Sandra Hüller’s performance was perfect and unbelievably nuanced. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to pacing and the film possibly being too long but other than that it was great. A definite watch

Think this film is underrated by people tbh. Beautifully nuanced performance by Paul Mescal, and his characters relationship with his daughter is unbelievably natural and truthful. This film definitely demands to be watched at least twice, as there’s sm subtlety and detail in every scene and could easily be missed if you’re not paying attention. The cinematography is incredible and the use of static shots and silence where we just observe a character just ‘being’ is so captivating.
