Long time go-er, not a show-er

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The music needed to be good for this concept to hit, and boy was it.
Giving a half star for the oner and how it not only drove home the best ideas at play, but also made me turn to my friend and say “This is hard ass”.
Originality isn’t the main thing here but it shows itself in a groovy manner at the right times.

I hadn't made it around to Sean Baker's movies so this was my first one. Sounds like it's a little different for him but there's a Safdie-style pacing with Tarantino-caliber dialogue, and the most spellbinding character connections I can recall at this time. I wasn't expecting any of it.
