I’m not going to wax eloquent about Dune: Part Two. I’ve already seen countless better-spoken, more articulate reviews detailing just how monumental of an achievement this film is. I am just going to point out the fact that at least 4-5 different times during my viewing, I got legitimate goosebumps. Denis Villenueve’s ability to translate a book that relies heavily on dialog and inner monologue into an absolute visual marvel is nothing short of legendary. If he can pull off a similar feat with Dune: Messiah we could potentially be looking at the creation of one of the greatest film trilogies of all time. Soak it in, people.
