It’s fun, and there are some decent action sequences, but he’s not devoid of all sensation, just pain. Why would he need an alarm to pee?

This is a documentary about people who exploit those with mental illness.

Kidnapping, train robbery, coup... it’s a vastly underrated movie.

What an unfortunate letdown. 

I’m not opposed to depictions of sexual assault in film, but it didn’t drive the plot and it only served to show power and control over the only female character in the entire movie. The whole thing was gratuitously abusive and violent toward women, who are portrayed as weak and defenseless. 

Maybe it was better when it came out, but it lacks the subtlety of Lovecraft, and it just felt like a movie for 13 year old bros who need wank material and ran out of fresh Victoria’s Secret catalogs.
