An undeniable classic thats easily one of the most influential thrillers ever made. Its bones & DNA can be found in everything from obvious projects like Sorcerer to less obvious ones like Mad Max: Fury Road. Clouzot manages to create nerve chilling tension not with music, but with complete silence, nervous sweat, and the ever so present threat of imminent death via a nitroglycerin explosion.
