It is ultimately up to you to choose who is in your family. It can be anyone: your friends, your roommates, your classmates, your teachers, your coworkers, your boss, or even complete strangers. Just because someone is a blood relative doesn’t inherently make them family.
An absolutely enrapturing, mystical, and visceral cinematic experience. Incredible cinematography, acting, production design, sound design, music, and direction all combine to make this the best film of 2021 so far.
It's not for everyone, especially your novice to average moviegoer; but if you're open to the idea of a slow burn, epic formalist film, you are in for something truly profound.
