my rating of this would be higher if not for the background music cuz it kind of threw me off and also it felt a little wattpad-esque at times + i think i couldn’t help but compare this to super dark times in my head. but oh my god.

hard to not be incredibly fond of a movie with so much fontaines dc in it. i think magical realism suits andrea arnold really well. and franz rogowski is so beautiful and so tender. worth the watch.
