looks gorgeous in a way only a silent movie can be, with a captivating score and performance. might be my fav silent movie that i've seen

i like the themes, i thought it was mostly pretty, and the music was striking (couldn't place what it reminded me of but read a review that mentioned On the Nature of Daylight and that's the vibe it gave me). but i also found it kinda boring with a confusing ending. I read about it so I do understand what was they were going for now, but something about it didn't click upon my actual viewing

kept waiting to find out how much blood and guts they could cover her with before i’d stop thinking “she’s so pretty” but the limit did not exist

no it’s actually crazy to watch a 60 year old movie that’s just as relevant now LIKE THE FLUORIDE JOKES?! 😭😭
