I knew absolutely nothing going into this, just that it was Kubrick and that it was considered a masterpiece and absolute all time great.

I gotta be honest, for like the first 40 minutes I just was not getting this movie at all, I barely knew what was happening, I just was not really enjoying it in the slightest. But as it went on I really started to notice what Kubrick was going for and in general just got much more appreciative of what I watching.

I'm not sure if I would call it a masterpiece personally, but I understand why many people do.
