Still impressive, but slightly less so than Part One by the very nature of its story in which our "hero" becomes a bit less heroic, and due, also, to the fact that it can't compete with the first film in eliciting awe and wonderment from the viewer merely because it's now presenting vistas and situations we've seen before. Austin Butler is amazing, Christopher Walken seems out of place, and Florence Pugh's role is more a cameo here than Zendaya's was in the first film. This is still, however, a grand epic with much to recommend it.
