Dune: Part Two

2024

★★★★

Firstly I have to say that if the third chapter will be as great as the first two this trilogy will be the Lord of The Rings of our times.
Secondly poor me was thinking that this was the end ,and that disappointed me a bit (I never read the book, I have only seen the Lynch version that ends almost were this movie ends if I correctly)
I mean the ending isn’t as open as the first part but still we are left a bit suspended.
Leaving this aside the movie is astonishingly beautiful, well crafted and deeply detailed.
The worlds feel alive and vibrant in their population traditions.
Photography and VFX are amazing (maybe too many blurry shots of Paul Atreides walking but I’m nitpicking).
Battles feel immense and are super well coreographed.
I feel like Feyd should have had more screen time, his character looks interesting but we don’t see him enough to understand him.
It’s truly an amazing movie and I’m really looking forward to watch part one and two consequentially.
I’m surely going back to see this for a second time in cinema because it’s truly made to be watched in a theatre like the first one .
