almost likeable but not quite

this is honestly bonkers

i liked this much less than i was hoping to. I think the gross food stuff was the most effective part of this for me. otherwise, it was over-the-top but not in a fun way? dennis quaid's character felt like it was better developed than either of the leads. but maybe that was the point? that the main character(s) don't have any personality beyond the desire for Youth and Beauty?
and a confession: I think I really don't like margaret qualley as an actor .. sorry !!

good to know some people still understand the meaning of cinema
