Dune: Part One was a good movie, but for several reasons, it did not stick with me after watching it. Sure, the movie looked amazing, but I was so lost while watching it. It wasn't until I watched it a second time, and did some research on the material, that I was able to enjoy it. On the second watch, I still had some issues with the film, because it very much felt like a movie that was made to set up a second one, and that second one finally came.

Dune: Part Two is an amazing movie. This movie somehow looks even better than the first one. Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya deliver some wonderful performances, but so does everyone else. Not every character gets as much screen time, but I have to commend every single one of them because of how good they still were. It works as a perfect sequel to Part One.

It makes me very happy to see movies that aren't Marvel movies be successful at the box office. With Oppenheimer and now this. I feel like it shows people that good movies, with good marketing, and people that care about the project, will be successful. I feel like Dune is going to be the equivalent of Lord of the Rings but for millennials.
