A movie that feels quintessentially Philadelphia. It captures the feeling and personality of Bruce’s community and city as much as it tells a horror story. The film toes a very fine line between  camp and reality, as the characters both feel cartoonish and incredibly grounded, with real world problems, desires and conflicts. Not every film would be able to achieve this, but Coven of the Black Cube does so, and does it well.

Comparing this film to any others would do it w disservice. It’s truly like none I’ve ever seen and Kasper is like no other director. The only way to describe the film is for it to be seen in full, preferably again and again.
