I watched this with my wife and daughter. We each want different things from a film, and we each got things we wanted in this film. The way that this movie shifts gears is it's strength, and it really shines when you're watching it with people who aren't like you. I guess I'm saying that this is a very good family film.

Never seen this before. Didn't really know what I was in for. Still catching my breath... Every second of this is a joy... yet it isn't just a live action cartoon. It does achieve a subconscious reality. It has what good surrealism has... I was really pulling for Kung Fu to become one of the great final girls... There's a deep sadness under the joy... Yep. No doubt about it. This is great.
