First Blood except the commentary is less about how we treat our veterans and more about how fucking crooked and awful cops are. Pierre gives a star making performance as the resourceful lead, and Johnson has had a hell of a run the last decade plus as charismatic villains. Glad I got to see this one in a nearly packed house on one of the best and biggest screens in town!

A bloody fun time from the same folks behind Book Of Monsters (which I enjoyed immensely). The comedy hits, the violence and effects are a gruesome delight, and long live those weird gremlin/hobgoblin/cat ghoulie monsters!
