2023 was not only the best year in movies since 2019 (or before), but easily one of the better years in my life as a whole, marked with a sense of emotional stability, peace, a focus on meeting with friends and new people, a focus on my hobbies, writing, etc. I was actually shocked just how many movies liked this year, an embarrassment of riches compared to the COVID-era.
