Hard not to watch film and reflect about what transpired 50+ years after. A film so strong in its convictions that it built out an entire galaxy of storytelling with simple gestures, ravaged gear and an iconic score all wrapped up in a grand adventure. When I picture Old Hollywood, I'm going to picture LAWRENCE OF ARABIA.

This feels like the sort of stunning achievement that they put in front of people and said "look what we can do". This film is absolutely massive in every sense. The desert is large, the runtime is enormous and the shots are so wide that you need a giant IMAX screen to fit everything on screen (probably).
