truly cinematic. the score and sound design were exceptional and resounding. it gave me the thrill of Fright Night and Dusk til Dawn while having so many historical references and callbacks to folklore, mythology, and religion. I love seeing hoodoo and conjure work represented in film. Miles Caton was such a genuine performer. I really appreciated the care taken in developing the ing actors relationships and personalities.

You can tell when a film is created by someone who loves movies and that is the case here. Influences that call back to the 80’s, 90’s, and even Hammer Horror make this movie feel nostalgic and give it an edge.
