The more I think about this film, the more it grows in my estimation. The parts that made me laugh, made me laugh harder than any movie in recent memory. It was also heartfelt, and scary. It's not for everybody, but it was absolutely for me.

The opening truck robbery was very CGI heavy, but once you get past that the action feels more real.

Evans is a director whose action scenes hurt to watch, and there were many times in the Club Medusa scene where I audibly "oof"ed. The entire scene was gloriously over the top. I don't know where the cleaver came from, but I'm happy it showed up.

Very fun action scenes, and anything with both Tom Hardy and Timothy Olyphant is worth watching.

If you can, please see the 4K remaster in as crowded a theatre as possible.

I took my kids to see it at the Film Forum NYC yesterday. The showing was sold out, and everyone in the theatre was caught up in the film.

One of my favorite theatre experiences ever.
