A proper blockbuster cocktail with shades of Speed as well as Groundhog Day. Anytime they start talking about the plot beyond its simple anti-terrorist mission, it begins falling apart - but mostly this is a pretty breezy blockbuster with some good heart. Jake G is carrying things in the lead and distracts from the fact that the characters aren't well developed really. Last 5 minutes were such an obvious studio note as well, what a letdown... But mostly: pretty good!
