Grade A Hixploitation action film with all the tropes - lots of 'splosions, lots of people going backflips through windows and off of towers, goofy banjo music where it isn't appropriate and everyone beating the shit out of each other for no reason.

Throw in a plot that is in no way linked to a possible reality and feels more like a Mad Max film to make this even crazier. The real joy here is doing the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the TV meme as almost every character is played by someone who is/was/went on to be a well known actor in the 60's, 70's & 80's.

I loved this, but Tennessee Williams is exhausting.

You like black comedy? This is about the blackest, inkiest, coaldust covered, dripping with tar, soul crushing kind of blackness that a black comedy can be. Just go in completely blind and prepare to let the anxiety and disgust wash over you.

I watched Pink Flamingos before this and somehow this G-Rated film was more disturbing.
