Not sure if it's the writing or the editing choices or the premise of "white people visit the global south to transform" that the characters acknowledge, but this movie hits... weird.
I feel like this movie might really hit home for polyamorous people based on how many poly friends have shared horror stories about couples with dynamics disturbingly similar to Lee and Susan's.
