Dan Holford’s review published on Letterboxd:
Actor Challenge - movie 20 - Vera Farmiga
“What would you do if you knew you only had one minute to live?”
A good, quickly paced thriller which is certainly elevated by its strong lead performance from Gyllenhaal. He can make any movie more interesting, and his performance here Probs ly deserves a better script. The rest of the cast deserved a lot more to do as well, especially Michelle Monaghan who is decent but has a pretty flat character.
Interesting ideas and concepts that are fleshed out enough to create an intriguing movie that manages to keep you second guessing with some of its twists. It’s overall ending might not be totally satisfying and is a little predictable but it doesn’t ruin the film altogether.
