Spielberg's definitely made way better films that WOTW, but I think it's one that feels under-appreciated more than anything. Election is a Hong Kong "Triad" thriller that channels Takashi Miike's brutal realism and John Woo's operatic tension, but filters it through the measured and restrained lens of an early De Palma or Fincher.
