Went with someone who didn’t speak Cantonese and they told me about the scene in the rain when the English subtitles said she still “loved him” and I said they actually don’t say that. The Cantonese is “鍾意你” which is closer to “I like you”. No one says I love you (我爱你） in the movie. Told them how you don’t really say it in Cantonese. At least in my experience.
