Is it a tacky comedy? Is it a Kung Fu movie? Is it a family movie? Is it a movie about instropection? Is it a movie about life?

It is indeed everything, everywhere, all at once.

The pacing of the movie looks like a metronome at 300bpm, going from one extreme to the other, not taking itself way too seriously and going all in at the same time, but without losing the grasp of its core.
Once everything goes full…

I'm in complete awe.
This is my first incursion into Anderson's filmography, and let God be witness of it as it won't be the last.

I was attracted to this movie due to the theme & aesthetics, but, without being extremely destructive, I found an empty husk painted on a psychedelic pattern.

The story has lots of elements that would have made this one a milestone on Italian horror, but falls flat due to it's terrible pacing on the first half of the movie. It starts as a bland Giallo.
For me, the movie gets redeemed towards the last third of the movie, once they find the mansion (no spoilers): Better use of lighting, better photography, better ambience, proper introduction of the antagonist, better scenes...
Acting is a no-no, but I guess that's the charm of these kind of low-budget movies, I guess?
