you see, time happens all at once. it’s like a river.

now why the hell did this line make me cry? 

kiernan shipka elevates scenes she’s in even when she has to blurt out ridiculous lines and especially when her character is surrounded by fucking imbeciles. but i thought most of the actors in this were great! what a joy it is to watch a film that is actually entertaining and funny instead of a bore! (my latest 2 watched films shade) oh this is a future classic

finally watched this! i heard a lot of good things about this one but it started slow and not that funny so i was worried. if the plot had been like the end, with zombies being active of society, i probably would have liked it more. some fun scenes but not enough for the rating to be higher. 

and jesus, ed was not likable at all. i kept actively rooting for his demise. if you’re gonna be this unlikable at least be thrilling to watch, charismatic. something. also the random n word jumpscare?

this made me have war flashbacks regarding some awful surgeons from the past and also made me want to do some body mods even more..interesting

i liked the message about the exploitation of wild animals but expected more from this film and was unfortunately disappointed. i didn’t feel any connection to the story nor characters and while not bored, i wasn’t entertained either. the chimp part was the only truly “entertaining” and chilling part of the story and the reason why my rating didn’t go to “waste of time” hell in the first place. and that tmz guy was really fucking annoying. during some scenes, i thought i was watching a comedy instead of a horror film; mind you i barely let out a chuckle.

when the opening credits dropped, i thought this film was gonna be right up my alley, alas it wasn’t meant to be.

the ending shocked me so much i forgot how to speak in my own language for a moment. it’s been a while since a film had such an effect on me. often when people hype up a film, i end up being disappointed because i had such high expectations which the film ended up not meeting. but this time i say: BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!
