This is a thrilling and somewhat intelligent action movie that remains surprising without jumping the shark from the beginning to the end. It explains the technical rules of the diegesis at a slow but sure pace, ensuring that we are constantly wondering without being lost or confused. The action scenes are well-photographed, creating a great balance between energy and heart (though there is a very clear distinction). It does not expect us to think too much, but the narrative does make sense if one were to do so. For a blockbuster action film, this is a very good movie, and one I would be likely to recommend.
