I became a fan of the "Saw" series over the summer, and when I heard that this had the best critic reviews of them all, I was happy to hear it. But it wasn't until I actually saw it (no joke intended) for the first time that I was convinced that it is the BEST ONE. What I especially liked about it was how it put John Kramer/Jigsaw in the role of the good guy for the first time, as well as the performances of Jigsaw's actor Tobin Bell and Amanda Young's Shawnee Smith.

I just got home from a long, busy night at work, and needed something good and funny to watch while I unwind.

This and Batman and Robin (1997), both directed by Joel Schumacher, were the first two Batman movies that I saw, so they both have a special place in my heart. Plus, this has Jim Carrey in it! What's not to love about that?

Watched it with a close friend and her folks. They all seemed to like it, which made me feel happy.
