the most uncanny thing i’ve seen in a minute. at last, we gay people are allowed to be boring, have absolutely no chemistry with our romantic co-leads, and exist as nothing more than walking homosexual archetypes. at one point, my boyfriend and i were throwing out imaginary lines uma thurman could randomly utter in her southern cate blanchett impression that would fit into this scarlet fever dream of a script and said “honey, we’ve gotta get you on truvada.” two minutes later, those words left her mouth.
