I’ve seen this movie countless times yet seeing it in the theater was when it truly moved me for the first time. I felt every explosion, flew through the battle above Coruscant, let the abject cruelty and spectacle of Order 66 wash over me and felt the heat of battle on Mustafar. My favorite subversion was when they made it not fun to sit through a Star Wars movie. My sister at one point wanted to check how much longer we had and it was another hour left and I haven’t seen her that upset at a movie in a while. Every time I try to think of things I like about it I how they don’t go anywhere interesting, get abandoned and or contradict other things.
Benicio Del Toro’s character said something that sounded like “Hawk Tuah” I think.
