This feels like it should’ve released in the late 90s. And I mean that in the best way possible. 

It’s just a nice and straightforward sci-fi thriller with a really cool concept and good execution.

Sure, it might be one of those movies that may fall apart if you try to make perfect sense of it but similar to something like Looper, it really doesn’t matter since everything else is just too good. 

Edge of Tomorrow is still the superior sci-fi/time loop movie though.
