Starting a rewatch of the entire MCU in timeline order according to Disney+.
This was a rough start, I ed kinda liking this movie, and I really didn’t. It felt so clunky, the editing was atrocious with smash cuts that served no purpose, janky action scenes, a serviceable if not by the numbers plot, nonremarkable score, nothing of visual note besides dated hard to watch explosions and comp jobs.

It knows what it is and has a lot of fun, some really fun practical set pieces, some silly bad cg, it feels weird ragging on it because it doesn’t pretend to be anything other than a fun movie where they are trying to outrun death. I had a blast, some fun camera work, okay acting and able writing, it’s an easy fun recommend. Fast & Furious coded, Jurassic World Dominion vibes, just silly shlock but fun. 3/5
Rewatched, I like it a lot more than I ed. I’m a sucker for the simplicity in a lot of ways of this one, the smaller human moments are lovely, the action is really good, some silly shenanigans like the ragnarok stuff that goes nowhere, overall though I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Ultron goes so hard. 3.5/5
Ah I really liked this one! And it’s a real movie! Easy to recommend! The score is great, performances excellent, simple but coherent plot, Bob is a great addition, just very happy to have a marvel movie be a movie again. I’m excited to see where we can go with this group, for the first time in a long time. 4/5
