Not good. I can see parts where this may have shone a little more brightly on the page but all of the scenes felt awkwardly stitched together and the performances were underwhelming to boot. Many characters/arcs were underdeveloped and for a movie “about” an artist who painted indelibly serene images there was maybe one shot that was composed in a painterly manner.
