Poor Things

Emma Stone, we'll get you that OSCAR AGAIN!

In a modern society inundated with infinite streams of derivative art, Poor Things is a triumph. To be honest, the way I experienced it was one of the most cinematic and weirdly satisfying experiences I've ever had.

I'm telling you, Yorgos Lanthimos never disappoints. I hope he's well so that he can continue to create fresh and intriguing films. His films are always unique, entertaining, bawdy, and breathtakingly gorgeous. It's incredibly nice to watch the filmmaker and actors' bravery in ramming already-existing truths into our faces through a cinematic masterpiece. I suppose some people are uncomfortable with the explicit depiction of these truths, since I see a lot of Poor ratings. Some people never grow up, or perhaps they are not prepared to confront reality. It's sad, but I don't give a fuck. At the very least, Bella Baxter taught me to cherish the joy and fullness of life, as well as everything it has to give. Furthermore, you can create your own path and choose your own fate.

I promise that if I see/hear/feel anyone who dislikes this film, I will swap your tiny stupid brain to a goat (if you saw the film, you know what I mean).
